Salary: £70,000 - 130,000 base

Job Description:

One of the world's most renowned financial institutions is looking for front-end Javascript engineers with React (ES6) and Typescript experience. Based in London, you will be joining a talented team of exceptional developers building and supporting a client-side platform.

You will be part of the Core Development team, evolving and driving the platform forward; building libraries, frameworks and services for other development teams. The work you do will be used by thousands of developers who are working on different lines of business in different asset classes. Using React (ES6) and Typescript, you need to build libraries and frameworks from scratch and work closely with the design team to build robust and testable systems.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex business challenges and enjoy working on all aspects of the software development lifecycle. You will be highly efficient when dealing with clients' needs and comfortable working in large, collaborative teams.

Skills and Experience Required
  • 4+ years' professional experience, proficient in one or more modern programming languages
  • Minimum BS/BA degree (or equivalent) with strong computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with: React, Redux, RXJS, TypeScript, ES6+ JavaScript
  • Sound understanding of architecture and design
  • Demonstrable experience in full software development lifecycle with agile methodologies
  • Financial industry experience is NOT required
