Financial Reporting Manager ACCA / ACA ; Fund Structures, Southampton

Fund background and fund structure is a "must have".

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

+ 4-5 years post qualification experience supported by a relevant professional qualification (ACCA or ACA)

+ Knowledge of company secretarial requirements of UK entities

+ Sound technical financial services knowledge (training to be supported through our Academy)

+ Computer literacy skills are essential

+ Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with clients, colleagues and business contacts.

Reports to Senior Financial Reporting Manager

The purpose of this position is to account for and administrate variety of corporate entities within fund structures under the direction of a Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

+ Managing a team to accuracy deliver client accounting needs and ensuring accurate data maintained on internal system

+ Ensuring compliance with all regulations, processes and procedures

+ Review all aspects of accounting including bookkeeping, management accounts, annual financial statements, VAT and other financial and regulatory reporting for a range of corporate entities under FRS 102 and IFRS reporting.

+ Attend client board meetings and present quarterly financial information

+ Manage and review completion of audit queries and establish good working relationships with audit firms

+ Act as a higher four-eyes signatory on accounting matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts

+ Review and authorise bank account payments

+ Manage the working capital cycle inline with group targets

+ Establish and build good working relationships with clients, colleagues and other business contacts

+ Participation in business development

+ Training and development of junior staff

+ Participate in and where required lead ad hoc team projects

+ Represent the team in group wide working groups and activities
