My client is a highly successful company who are continuing to grow and they are keen to recruit a talented Project Manager in their Head Office. The role will involve working with Management Team to maintain the smooth running of Low Voltage Switchgear Projects involving the following aspects:
  • Management of HV and LV Switchgear project activities.

o Design review from order.

o Switchgear Engineering Design, working with Senior Electrical Engineer to design from concept new LV Switchgear Projects & Control Schemes.

o Delivery of HV & LV Package Substations - LV Switchgear & Sub Distribution.

o Customer liaison.

o Completion reports.

o Reporting to senior management on a weekly basis for all activities as required.

o Working with the management team in respect of the design and development of existing and future products.

o To liaise and organise site staff with relevant site / workshop management to allow continuity of commitments.

o Technical support, customer site visits & meetings.

o Labour resource to meet contract targets

o Responsibility for managing projects from project handover up to site works and completion.

o Organising site works for installation & testing of switchgear and creating RAMS documents for the works.

o Quoting of project variations.

o Managing receipt of variation orders and changes to project scope.

o Regular liaison with shop floor supervisors for production updates.

o Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental policies
