We're looking for smart, experienced and enthusiastic Vehicle Preparation (Valet) Specialists to join Cazoo at the very beginning of our journey. This role will be based at Cazoo Customer Centres (CCCs) in Cardiff, helping to build the UK's best car buying experience.

Cazoo is becoming one of the largest digital used car retailers in the UK and as we develop our footprint we need experienced technicians to join us and that is where you come in!

We are looking for a Vehicle Preparation (Valet) Specialists that can work alongside our delivery and service functions, within our customer collection centre to ensure the quality of vehicles are in-line with our rigorous retail standards.

This role will be a hands-on inspecting, moving and preparing cars to a high retail standard. You will be an experienced in valeting vehicles with a great eye for detail, with previous experience working in a high volume environment.

The role needs someone with the right mindset and cultural fit to become part of a fast paced, customer obsessed organisation that will transform automotive retailing in the UK.
What you'll be doing:
  • Check in vehicles efficiently that are delivered to ensure they meet the highest required Cazoo retail standards
  • Ensure that any pre or post sale valet rectification work is quickly identified and undertaken to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Confirm any necessary rectification work has been completed and to the required standard with a high degree of QA
  • Work proactively with your colleagues on site, across customer operations, delivery and technical to ensure a principle of proactiveness for our customers
  • Move vehicles around site as required for customer or wholesale movement, ensuring vehicles are parked to minimise any damage
  • You will be proficient with using a steam cleaner, wet and dry vacuum cleaner, machine operated polisher along with the ability to apply the best quality valeting products for high quality results across paint, glass, trim, rubber & engine
  • Work efficiently to ensure maximum productivity to allow the effective use of your available hours (used to working to with volume targets)
  • Ensure that all consumable valet products are managed effectively to ensure stock at all times, without being overstocked
  • Ensure knowledge of the latest valet product & application/removal techniques are kept up to date and applied appropriately
  • Full compliance with Cazoo health & safety policies including LOLA & COSHH
  • Working across 7 days on a rota system (40 hours per week)
Key Skills Required:
  • Minimum of two years of volume valet experience
  • Significant experience using a machine operated polisher (MOP) and steam cleaner
  • Experience with garage management systems including checking vehicles in and out whilst checking for damage ideally on a tablet
  • Stock management experience
  • Willingness to travel (Clean driving licence required)
