CHP Engineer (Electrical)

Nationwide Travel - Majority of work completed in the north west and south east.

£40,000 to £50,000 + Company Pension + Bonus (paid twice a year) + Van + Tools + Fuel Card + Health Insurance + Call Out

40 hours a week, 8am to 5pm

CHP Engineer position available within a market leading energy equipment and solutions business who are looking to expand. The company are willing to train and develop the successful candidate.

The CHP Engineer role would suit an electrically biased service engineer from a power/generator background. The candidate must have a strong background in the CHP industry. Applicants must be comfortable completing nationwide travel with the majority of work being completed in the north west and south east.

The role will primarily involve the electrical maintenance and commissioning of heat and power generators (CHP) as well as fault finding work. You will also be required to supervise all necessary installation and electrical commissioning tests to ensure quality control procedures are being kept up to date and comply with health and safety legislation. Training on offer includes a Gas Safe Accreditation that will be provided.

* Electrical commissioning and maintenance of heat and power generators
* Nationwide travel
* Stay away on average 3 times a month
* Call out rota of 1 in every 4 weekends

The CHP Engineer:

* Experience working in the CHP industry
* Service Engineer with a strong electrical background
* At least qualified to 17th edition or equivalent
