Programme Manager, Refugees and Migrants
Location: Office location TBC, with occasional travel to South London, Hastings and Kent (from home during Covid-19 social distancing measures)
Contract: Fixed contract until end December 2022
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Circa £32,000
Groundwork deliver a series of innovative integration programmes focused on supporting migrants and refugees to integrate into life in the UK, through a programme of holistic activities including language, employment support and cultural / community activities. We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead and manage a new integration project which will be delivered in South London, Hastings and Kent. The post's primary location will be London, with travel to Hastings/Kent as required.
You will be experienced working with refugee and migrant communities, with a strong understanding of the challenges these communities and individuals face.
You will use your experience of managing complex projects or programmes to lead and manage the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and financial management of the project. As a strong team leader, you will lead the planning of project activities, utilising and empowering the skills and experience of a multi-disciplinary team. Alongside strong project management skills including budget management, report writing and client management, we are seeking someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, together strong communication and networking skills whilst working with project partners. You will enjoy working and leading a team, combined with the ability to work autonomously.
