To provide outstanding care and education, our people need expert support with Learning & Development. We're looking for a Capability Development coach to help make sure they're fully prepared for every situation. Our children and young people are depending on our team, and the skills you teach will play a vital role. Therefore, you can expect some great opportunities in return.

The role
Sometimes our children and young people display some challenging behaviour. Thanks to you, our team will have the skills to handle every situation in a positive, confident way. You'll deliver our Induction training, including PRICE / Team Teach, welcoming and inspiring our new recruits to make their best start with us. You'll be responsible for making sure that our on-site tutors are well educated and supported, and that all our people are given consistent, high quality refresher training. You'll be a mentor to our on-site tutors, advise senior leadership teams and share your expert knowledge to help raise our game. Wherever you are and no matter who you are training, you'll promote the principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and make sure our values run through everything.

Your profile
There's no doubt that this role calls for a Team Teach or PRICE specialist, and you'll need to be qualified as a tutor in at least one methodology, and have experience of delivering the training. You'll need to have a solid foundation in training methodology; able to analyse training needs and evaluate courses accurately. You also need solid experience of working with challenging child behaviour, along with a natural talent for coaching people and communicating clearly. Organised and able to shape effective, innovative interventions, you'll be prepared to travel and visit our sites across the country.
