We are working with our client based in Leeds City Centre to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 4 months to cover maternity. For this role you will need to be available to start immediately and you will have previous experience in purchase and sales ledger along with some payroll processing experience - they are able to provide training on their system but if you have used Xero this would be beneficial.

Role: Accounts Assistant - 30 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 - £19,000, dependent on experience, pro rata
Location: Leeds City Centre

Your responsibilities will include:

* Process monthly payroll
* Query resolution
* Sales ledger
* Purchase ledger
* Reconciliations
* Reviewing aged debtors reports
* Checking nominals
* Petty cash
* Accounts admin
