Learning Assistant - Brickwork
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £24,825 to £26,470 per annum. Plus generous benefits. These include:
43 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Brickwork team as a Learning Assistant. The ideal person will be an experienced Construction worker who is looking for a career change. The role involves managing and supervising our brickwork training workshop and supporting all brickwork students with their practical activities and assessments.
The day to day duties include preparing training workstations, ordering brickwork supplies, developing risk assessments, safe systems of work and general workshop housekeeping.
This is a key role within the brickwork team and the successful person will have the opportunity to help prepare our students for their assessments and work closely with the brickwork team.
You should be self-motivated and able to work with young people in a supportive and instructive manner.
About the Person
If you have experience in the construction industry and a passion for supporting students to achieve their potential, we want to hear from you. Ideally your background will be focused around the construction industry. You will be a self-starter and enjoy working as part of a large team.
