The Fix have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our client, a well-known and successful healthcare communications agency.
This particular role is within the brand communications team, so they are specifically looking for candidates with experience in this.
About the role:
Brand Communications:
From brand strategy and development to creative campaigns; multi-channel marketing to brand & disease awareness; corporate and internal motivation campaigns to sales aids.
As part of the Patient & Brand Communications team, you'll be responsible for the following activities:
You will be involved at every stage - from pitch to delivery - across advertising, brand building, sales materials, digital projects etc., providing support for the day-to-day running of various accounts, which will include:
Client/Programme Management:
* When taking on a new account; fully investigating the history of that account, the client and the product
* Demonstrating an ability to follow and create a clear brief
* Efficiently handling straightforward enquiries from clients/suppliers/key opinion leaders, deferring to colleagues as appropriate
* Leading client meetings
* Be an integral member of the pitch team
Delivery Management:
* Drive efficiencies in your pod and the wider business as appropriate
* Progression of production of materials, including the development of production schedules and timelines and participation in briefing meetings with the creative team
* Driving client priorities including resource planning considerations
* Ideas generation and follow through
* Handling logistical aspects of workload, developing and adhering to timelines with the support of members of your team
* Leading status TCs and participate in face-to-face meetings; proactively preparing materials in advance
* Preparing written materials, including; contact reports, weekly situation reports, agency status reports, day-to-day correspondence and slides
Financial Management:
* Keeping within agreed budgets and tracking spend/financial status of projects for which you are specifically responsible
* Communicating where projects are tracking to budgets to clients
* Complying with company systems (i.e. completing accurate timesheets)
* Attending monthly billing meetings to acquire an understanding of the processes involved
Leadership opportunities:
* Coaching junior members of the team with their day-to-day work and provide support to improve quality
* Proof-reading the work of juniors
* Proactively manage accounts and cover for more senior team members when absent
* Leading whole projects with supervision, knowing when to delegate tasks to others

* Identify gaps concerning personal knowledge and skills base, and agree on a personal development plan with Brand Director
* Through company resources, keep abreast of the healthcare environment and develop a clear understanding of the disease and therapy areas associated with each account
What you'll bring:
