Experienced Finance/Administration Team Leader required for a NPO based in Sheffield.

Reporting to the SSD Manager you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team (5) to process a range of specialised transactions with adequate resources at all times.

* Responsible for all aspects of staff management within the SS Administration team including recruitment, motivation, training and performance

* Required to deputise for the SSD Manager

* Organise the daily and weekly rotas of the team ensuring that monthly processing targets are achieved

* Work closely with SSD and the Service Support department to develop processes for services provided by the SSC

* Manage a number of financial controls to minimise the risk of processing fraudulent or unathorised transactions including the verification of amendments to supplier bank account details

* Maintain and develop good working relationships with key internal customers as well as other SSC staff

* Ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely fashion

* Other ad hoc duties as required

The person:

* Previous management and finance experience is essential

* You must be able to work on your own initiative

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

* The ability to motivate and develop a team is essential

* You must be capable of working to tight deadlines
