Based in North Yorkshire, our client are a well-established Accountancy practice. They are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to be responsible for the smooth running of the business and all its clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
AAT Qualified (minimum)
The ability to attain a practicing certification
Highly competent across all aspects of bookkeeping and payroll
Excellent organisation skills with an adaptable approach
Ambitious and forward-thinking
Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
Work in conjunction with the Director to ensure the company meets its daily/periodic commitments to all clients on accounting matters
Co-ordinate and manage employees to bookkeeping, accounts and payroll, supporting so that work is carried out to a high standard
Provide draft accounts to a full accrual basis with appropriate explanations
Record keeping on all aspects of the client accounts and meeting client timetables
Reporting to the Director on all matters of the practice, maintaining a key chain of communication and transparency
Reporting to the Client Director, the Practice Manager's role will evolve with time, with scope for becoming a Director/Shareholder in the business in the future. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ambition and desire to establish a successful, credible and long-term career.
This is a part-time (20-30 hours), temporary to permanent position, with some flexibility around hours.
