Senior Electrical Design Engineer
£45K- £55K + package

A company with over three decades of knowledge and experience are looking for an experiences Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The role will require working as lead electrical design engineer on various projects with chemical dosing and the water industry.

This role involves overseeing all aspects of electrical design on multi-discipline design and build projects, from concept right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards. You will be working as part of a multi-discipline team with mechanical engineers, civil engineers and project managers.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of a small team of electrical engineers in respect of the production of electrical design deliverables, the procurement of goods and services, preparing electrical work scope estimates/quotations and completing contract works information documents, as required.

Knowledge & Experience

Working experience within chemical dosing or the water industry (desired)
Cable design
Full project life cycle
You will be required to produce the following electrical deliverables;

Electrical Load Schedule
Electrical Single Line Diagrams/Block Cable Diagrams
Electrical Cable Sizing Calculations (using Amtech)
Motor Control Centre Specifications & Data sheets
Wimes data sheets
Control Philosophies
Electrical Loop Termination Diagrams
DSEAR Hazardous Area Assessments
Electrical Installation Design (tray work/ ducting/equipment installation arrangements)
Profibus network design experience (desired)

HNC/D or degree qualified in mechanical engineering, with a focus on generation.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards
