An opportunity has arisen for an IQA to join a leading training provider based in the North East. As a member of the IQA team, you will undertake the internal quality assurance activity of our assessment process in line with the company IQA Sampling Strategy and External Awarding Body requirements. You will identify and share best practice to ensure our Learning Mentors meet and exceed the required standards of assessment. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to help guide the success of our learners.

Main responsibilities:
o Maintain quality monitoring in line with company processes including sampling schedule and moderation requirements.
o Ensure effective communication through regular contact with Lead IQA, Assessment Managers/Learning Mentors and efficient cascading of information including standardisation.
o Support Learning Mentors to achieve their full potential.
o Identify appropriate development areas and make Lead IQA aware of findings to. allow training to be developed and delivered to meet the needs of the business.
o Attend and participate in moderation meetings with the IQA team as required.
o To undertake all aspects of the post in accordance with the companies Equal Opportunities policy.
o To comply with the company's Data Protection and GDPR policy in relation to collection, use, storage and disposal of personal or sensitive data.
o To maintain and update own knowledge, skills and occupational competence as required by the awarding body.
o To support the promotion and growth of apprenticeships throughout the programmes.

Essential Skills and Experience:
o Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
o A proven track record of relevant experience of assessing in the digital arena.
o A Passion for Training/Coaching.
o An ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
o An ability to encourage and motivate people.
o A methodical approach to work, and excellent attention to detail.
o Excellent presentation and proof reading skills.
o Understands and shares in our vision, mission and core purpose.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
o Knowledge and passion for the IT, Tech and Digital sector.
o A proven track record of relevant experience of IQA in the digital arena.
o Hold a relevant Assessment Award (A1, TAQA).
o Hold a relevant IQA Award (V1, TAQA).
o Hold vendor exams in the relevant discipline.

Full time permanent
2 days in the office and 3 days working from home
