An exciting new opportunity as Compliance Leader has become available with a specialist care provider who provide community care services to adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and associated mental health conditions.

The Compliance Leader role could be partially based from home, with time spent in the office and of course in the homes of the clients they support. This role is to oversee 4 clients and their individual care packages. It is essential that you are highly skilled in writing detailed care plans and carrying out structured observations and reviews with staff. This person will be experienced in carrying out risk assessments, monitoring compliance and developing the practice of staff to ensure that the care delivered is safe effective and reliable. This role does not involve line management of staff or on call responsibilities.

The complex conditions of their clients are varied, such as Airway Management, Tracheostomy, Vent, PEG, Cerebral Palsy, Communication Devises, Autism, Brain Injury, Spinal Injury.

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 negotiable depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Must have exceptional skills in writing detailed care plans and carrying out structured observations

Participate in client assessments for existing clients, undertake and advise in relation to risk assessments relevant to each client and their individual situation.

Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation and implement the relevant changes to ensure the best practises are being followed

Monitor staff competencies, working collaboratively with the community based management team

Conduct regular client reviews and respond accordingly to concerns and changes in needs.

Build lasting professional relationships, attend and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings in relation to clients care.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running

Due to the nature of this post being out on the field, a full UK driving license is essential.

The Ideal Candidate:

Has previous experience and expertise in supporting individuals with complex health needs with at least one of the following conditions; Tracheostomy, ABI, Spinal Injuries, Challenging Behaviours, Ventilators, PEG, Communication Devices.

Experienced in a community-based staff team.
