Web and Systems Developer

£34,548.82 per annum

37 hours per week

Indefinite contract

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic developer to play a key role in creating, maintaining and managing web based systems at Swindon College.

Main duties include:

  • Develop the College's systems in-line with the agreed strategies and priorities.
  • Assist in the development of a corporate Internet / Digital strategy working with the College stakeholders.
  • To identify and exploit opportunities to use new, existing and emerging technologies for the distribution and collection of information.

Providing training and support to College staff on the use of web based systems will call upon your excellent communication skills. Knowledge of developing web applications will be demonstrated through your relevant industry experience.

It is essential that you will have or commit to gain your English and Math's level 2 within 24 months of appointment. It would also be desirable that you will hold a degree or higher qualification in a computer or business related discipline.
