The role (closing date - 12 December 2017)

The Qualifications Advisor is a key member of the team, responsible for responding to and dealing with telephone and email enquiries and providing advice on the processes for obtaining their membership and professional qualifications via a variety of different routes.

Duties and responsibilities

- Provide advice and guidance to members and potential members on all grades of their membership and all aspects of the qualifications process
- Champion excellent customer service by providing accurate and concise information in a timely manner.
- Liaison with the Qualifications Coordinator and their Regional Support Teams on all matters pertaining to qualifications.
- Dealing with the end to end processes associated with processing applications to membership, career appraisals and initial professional development processes.
- Logging and forwarding incoming mail for the Membership team.
- Using initiative to escalate complex issues to specialists and line management appropriately.

- Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills and written and oral communication skills.
- Candidates should have strong team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively as required.
- Attention to detail and the ability to efficiently organise and prioritise workload are essential.
- The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in an office environment and in a customer facing role.
- Applicants must have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and database experience.
