The main purpose of the Business Development role is to manage and grow a strong, well established client base in addition to securing new business by booking appointments, prospecting and marketing new opportunities and products using a consultative sales approach.

You will be expected to manage and develop accounts in a structured fashion to optimise efficiency.

Responsibilities & Job Description
The responsibilities of the Business Development role include, but are not limited to the below:

- Successfully adhere to a pre-determined sales process
- Regular new business lead generation
- Build and develop new customers in a consultative manner to maximise revenue stream
- Provide presentations and demonstrations on products when and where necessary
- Acquire and develop a comprehensive knowledge of their product ranges and uses, and be able to use this knowledge to provide a solutions-based selling approach to all customers
- Efficiently and effectively provide full geographical coverage of the designated territory

Key Skills & Attributes

The right individual for the role will be provided with coaching and selling insight as needed. The skills and attributes required are listed below:
- Highly motivated
- Time management skills, and the ability to self manage.
- The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Process driven
- Experience of selling commercial cleaning machines and equipment is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to maintain on-going rapport with a diverse customer base
- Customer service minded
- Competent IT skills
- Strong sense of integrity
- Ability to learn quickly and self-manage professional growth
- Driving license (to meet insurance stipulations the candidate must be 25 years of age or older)


£23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience. OTE £33,000 - £35,000 (plus uncapped commission, company car, mobile, and laptop)
