The Company

Robert Half HR is working with a large FMCG client based near Reading, recruiting for a passionate and ambitious HR Officer. This role would ideally suit someone with a couple of years experience within a HR function, looking for a position that provides plenty of exposure and development/progression opportunities.

The Role

This position sits within the larger HR team at the company head office, so will the client base is made up predominantly of the corporate central functions. This HR Officer role is an opportunity for someone to work very closely with the HR Business Partner, covering a wide generalist remit of responsibilities including: - recruitment and selection - providing first line support and advice to line managers on a range of HR topics - assisting with complex Employee Relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance meetings - training and development - generalist HR administrationKey Attributes and Skills Required: - 1-2 years generalist HR experience within a similar HR function, ideally Retail and FMCG - Degree qualified - adaptable, proactive and credible approach - ambition to progress through the HR ranks

Salary & Benefits

The role of HR Officer offers a salary up to £25,000 per annum, plus company benefits.
