As a Product Regulation and Customisation Engineer, you will be working within a team of change and support engineers, and alongside product specialists, to understand, identify and implement equipment customisation for regional and local markets.

The principal focus will be ensuring products are compliant with state, federal, national and regional regulations and directives. This will be achieved by developing a general understanding of our products, identifying compliance gaps and managing any modifications through to completion.

This role would be perfect for an experienced Engineer with a background in mechanical/electrical assemblies looking to join a fast-paced, challenging team, with the opportunity to be working on large-scale international projects with some exciting technologies.

Own all aspects of product localisation
Work with product specialists to identify the full scope of product compliance
Apply product knowledge to determine regional or local requirements and identify gaps
Develop technical and lingual solutions to fill gaps in product compliance
Raise changes and/or customisations through the local change process and manage through to completion
Direct translation, or management of the translation, of product installation, operation and maintenance manuals, labels and signage
Champion the localisation requirements of product engineering when working with other stakeholdersMinimum:

Solid experience within a Product Regulation, Compliance or Customisation Engineer position, preferably within an electro-mechanical environment.
Proven background working within at least one non-UK regulatory framework
Excellent attention to detail
Proven experience working directly with engineering/development teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with SolidWorks/PDMIdeal but not essential:

Experience of CogniDox, Trello
Knowledge of automation and general engineering and appreciation of applicable directives, codes standards etc.
Remote coordination and support experience
International working experience
Awareness of field installation of products and/or systems
Experience in a CAT package will be beneficialKey Competencies
