Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Business Analyst on a permanent contract to join our team based in Chiswick Park, London. You will be providing a consistent support to the Europe Health Consulting Practice in relation to sales and financial reporting and processes. Working with the Europe Client Services and Group Medical Services Finance departments to assist in the implementation of and efficient adherence to the key processes relating to Health Consulting client billing and inter-company recharges. Interfacing effectively with the Sales and Marketing, Operations, Billing, Commercial Services and IT teams to develop and maintain strong working relationships to support the efficient and effective management of Health Consulting clients.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Reporting
  • Supporting the business review process by generating activity and utilisation reports within the agreed time frame, from the relevant Sales (salesforce.com), Consulting (Harvest), and Financial (Cognos, Inca, and others) systems
  • Identifying any potential invoicing issues, and implementing corrective actions to address the issues
  • Reviewing with the relevant Sales or Finance teams, to ensure the accuracy of information, identification of any potential invoicing issues, and implement corrective actions to address the issues
  • Consolidate information received from finance, consulting, and sales teams to meet additional reporting requirements
  • Validation of sales pipeline as submitted by sales teams, to actively contribute to preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews and forecasting
  • With the Europe Health Consulting Practice Manager and Medical Services Finance team, prepare and communicate Europe Practice consulting costs to operating regions to prepare recharges
  • Maintain inventory of recharges, and lead coordination and alignment between the Europe Health Consulting Practice, MS Finance, and other regions

Process / Project Management
  • In cooperation with Client Services, monitoring of Health Consulting client invoices including fees and expenses, within Contract Invoice Timing (CIT) through to successful delivery
  • In cooperation with MS Finance, review of cost and revenues allocation for the Europe Health Consulting Practice. Identification of any potential issues, and implement corrective actions to address the issues
  • Providing training, creating documentation and user guides, fostering best practices exchange for Health Consulting with Client Services, Sales, and Finance departments as and when required
  • Acting as the primary inter-department liaison on accounting matters

Quality of Service Management
  • Maintaining data accuracy and integrity of client data in SFDC, Harvest, or other systems as relevant
  • Managing data and contractual compliance by ensuring that administrative data is up to date
  • Build a strong communication structure with key stakeholders, including Assistance and MS Finance, MS FP&A, and sales teams
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong business knowledge on service business processes including business reviews, forecasting, and financial accounting
  • Business acumen with the ability to understand business needs, and provide recommendations to improve business efficiency and financial results
  • Excellent numeric, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM applications)
  • Problem-solving mindset and service orientation to users
  • Strong individual with good interpersonal skills. Can work autonomously and within a team to deliver results
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where collaboration is the norm
  • Experience in an operationally / commercially focused analytical and/or Customer Services role
  • Exposure to working in a cross-border engagement sales environment, with evidence of communicating with a variety of people of different backgrounds at different levels
