Job Title: Senior Developer

Location: Swindon

Salary: to £50,0000 per annum

Skills Required: Solid Object Orientated PHP Programming to include PHP 7 , Concrete understanding of MVC Frameworks . Back End Programming , MYSQL skills.

Senior PHP Developer required for Multi Award Winning E-Commerce and Retail company based in Swindon, Wiltshire. **The client will support a relocation if necessary ** The company is growing and now breaking into the US market after investing heavily in technology , now having a strong knowlegdgeable development team that code to a high standard and love to push boundaries of what is possible!

Senior PHP Developer - Required Skills :-
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial PHP development
  • Proven track record for developing scalable web applications and integrating API's
  • Strong experience writing clean Object Orientated code with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Experience with MVC frameworks , Zend , Symfony, Laravel or Codeignitor
  • Experience with unit testing , PHPunit

This role requires an experienced PHP / MYSQL Developer to deliver new projects and maintain existing systems whilst ensuring the highest standards are maintained within an exciting and fast paced development environment.

Senior PHP Developer - Beneficial skills
  • Be able to code complex DDL and DML SQL from scratch. Optimize queries and modify existing SQL in a MySQL environment.
  • Experience with web application frameworks such as Zend
  • Magento ECommerce exposure
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery , Angular, Nodejs , React, Vue
  • Experience developing cross-browser interfaces using XHTML/HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems such as SVN and GIT
  • Experience with Linux/Unix especially using basic command line tools.
  • Ability to work independently, takes initiative, and contributes to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team
  • Strong organisation and analytic skills, with strong problem solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
