Advert Text - Band 3 Health Care Assistants - Interventional Radiology Gate 19

We are looking for Band 3 Health Care Assistants to join our dynamic Imaging team. Working alongside Radiologists, Radiographers and the Nursing Team you will be assisting in caring for patients undergoing out-patient & in-patient radiological procedures including MRI,CT,Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy. We work closely with our Daycase unit to provide continuous care for all patients attending the department. There are opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge in other areas of the Radiology department.

At Brunel in Imaging we are looking for highly motivated staff to join our team and to be involved in this ever expanding speciality.

Our patients are booked into Imaging from all areas within the trust which include: - Cardiac, Neurosciences, Vascular, Urology & Gastro Intestinal wards as well as Outpatients and other hospitals.

Previous experience of working in an acute ward environment in the NHS would be beneficial, however this is not essential as individual training is available to staff members joining our team.

Our core working hours are 08:00-18:00hrs Monday to Friday.

Band 3 payscale: £17787 pa - £20448 pa for those meeting the full requirements of the post as detailed in the person specification excluding unsocial hours or overtime payments.

Where this is not the case and training is required for the post the salary will start at £14314 pa for the first six months then £15336 pa for the reminaing training excluding unsocial hours or overtime payments until training completed.
