The Priory Hospital Middleton St George offers a wide range of Psychiatric Specialties and Sub-Specialties. It is located in the quiet picturesque Town of Middleton St George. Despite its rural location, it is situated close to all major travel routes; A1/A19 and M1.

Priory MSG is currently rated 'Outstanding' by CQC, due to the hospital's ethos on delivering patient focused, recovery and evidence based interventions, with evidence of high quality patient outcomes. Each Ward within the hospital has a stable and full complement of professionals; OT, Psychology and experienced RMN's that deliver robust MDT working.

At Priory MSG, there is provision of a wide range of treatments and interventions which promotes least restrictive practice and active patient collaboration in decision making. Priory MSG has a good working relationship with other Priory Healthcare services and stakeholders within the region, enabling supportive care pathways   

Are you a Dietitian with relevant experience who is ready for an exciting challenge? We are looking for a motivated, active team player with excellent communication and group facilitation skills and some experience of working with people with diabetes and co-morbid Mental Health disorders.

We are looking for a sessional dietitian in a Mental Health setting at Priory Hospital Middleton St George for 22.5hrs per week.

You will have the opportunity to deliver cardiac rehabilitation sessions, hold group education sessions for service users with diabetes, train nursing staff and participate in events that promote the role of the dietitian. The role will have a focus on delivering structured education. It will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills in advising patients with diabetes, high risk diseases and nutritional needs including obesity in a group setting. You will be working within a well-defined multi-professional team.
