We are seeking to recruit Healthcare assistants across the Elm C frailty and dementia/ delirium floor at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. We are looking for caring, dedicated, innovative and motivated Healthcare Assistants to work as part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team. We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team, centralised around holistic patient care with a multidisciplinary approach.

Elm C is 22 bedded acute medical. The ward consists of 10 frailty beds specialising in the care of the older frail person. We take direct admissions from ED and G.P.s, as well as transfers from AMU) and ensuring the patient receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

The 12 other beds specialise in the assessment and treatment of dementia and delirium. We have an experienced and highly motivated Multidisciplinary team including links with psychiatric liaison. The unit is starting to incorporate new therapies including dance recall and music therapy.

You must have a caring approach, be an excellent communicator and be capable of delivering high standards of patient care.
