Clinical Services - Urgent and Emergency Care

Ward A2

Staff Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team on Ward A2. We are looking for experienced Medical nurses who will provide expert care for the patients admitted to Ward A2 to whom we provide safe, quality and outstanding care.

We are looking for experienced, dynamic & motivated individuals who work well within team environments and who wish to deliver person-centred care. Ward A2 is a very busy 28 bedded acute medical admissions unit with 10 select beds for complicated diabetic patients.

As staff nurse on ward A2, you will be supported by the Ward Manager and a dynamic senior nursing team to maintain the standards required for ensuring the safety of patients and the delivery of high quality care for a varied case-load.

Within Urgent and Emergency Care CBU (Clinical Business Unit) we are developing a new training department to enhance critical care nursing skills. The unit will have a designated PEF Practice Educator Facilitator, who will dedicate time to staff for training on clinical skills including multiple types of drains, blood culture technique, and arterial blood gas technique and develop competencies for staff to be able to achieve this.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months' salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
