An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual to lead at a Senior Level the established nursing team on the Haematology Ward at the Royal Gwent Hospital and both the day case units at Royal Gwent and Nevill Hall.

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to maintain and continue to raise the profile of this evolving team. To drive forward the changes required, support and progress quality patient care within the nursing team today.

The Haematology Ward is a focussed ward, accommodating both ladies and gentlemen (mixed sex ward) in cubicles and works closely with a wide multidisciplinary team to ensure patient centered care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic individual to lead a team of dedicated and professional staff. Applications are invited from experienced registered nurses who are flexible, motivated, and enthusiastic and are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a multidisciplinary setting.

The successful candidate should possess good leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, possess effective communication skills and willing to embrace change.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
