These are three new posts to join a team of Geriatricians with widespread interests. These posts require enthusiastic clinicians who can demonstrate a commitment to multi-disciplinary working and an ability to participate in the development, planning, management and delivery of services in liaison with the colleagues. These are full time posts but those who wish to work less than full time will be considered. The principles responsibilities of these posts are:
  • To collaborate with colleagues in the community and the Elderly Care team to develop community services for older people in Dudley.
  • To manage elderly patients in Care of the Elderly Ward or EAU
  • To collaborate with Elderly Care colleagues in the work of the Elderly Care department and contribute to developing the Elderly Care service.

Please see individual job descriptions for various subspecialty detail. Candidate must have full registration with the GMC and be on the specialist register with the GMC or within 6 months of specialist registration in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine on the date of interview.
