An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Registered Paediatric Nurses to join our nursing team on the Paediatric Ward at Nevill Hall Hospital. The candidate will be a Registered Children's Nurse although no experience post qualification is required.

The Paediatric Ward has 27 beds and delivers acute care to children aged 0-18 years. The ward combines inpatient care, admissions/ assessment unit, high dependency, day cases and investigations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills across all areas of the service with support and training. Aneurin Bevan University Health Board offers a comprehensive induction program and the post holder will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, experience and skills within a friendly supportive environment.

The post is based on the Paediatric Ward at Nevill Hall Hospital but may involve working in other areas across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The post requires working 12 hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
