Sister/Charge Nurse

Band 6, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,401 - £37,267 per annum

We are a 38 bedded Stroke Unit providing care for both Hyper-acute and acute stroke patients. Thrombolysis is an integral part of stroke care within the units and is available 24 hours over seven days a week.

We are seeking a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse who has acute Stroke experience to join our pro-active team. You will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.

You should be a 1st level RGN, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and hold ENB 998/Mentorship level 2 or equivalent. Four years post registration experience is desirable and at least two years experience at Band 5 with proven management and leadership skills.

The successful applicant will be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalism. In return we will offer you excellent managerial support and commitment to your personal professional development.
