Role Overview

Working under the SEUK IM training function and alongside the Senior Retail Programs Manager, you will have full responsibility for the execution and delivery of Samsung's award-winning online training portal. You manage an Online training manager who will maintain the portal and come up with innovative ideas for change relevant to the current business requirements and product portfolio. You will also control and monitor budgets which are in place regarding the portal and demonstrate return on investment, driving incremental growth with channel and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and direction for eLearning across retail and call centre staff who are responsible for driving product sales with customers and will liaise and communicate with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to build plans and maintain excellent standards.

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility

* Define strategic direction of eLearning platform, setting clear objectives and KPI's to monitor ROI
* Manage the Online Training Manager who will liaise with developers on system change and timelines of delivery
* Ownership of agency contract and external supplier relationship to show ROI based on agreed objectives and Statement of Work. Require clear measurement of performance on monthly and quarter perspective measuring value added vs investment.
* Maintain a solid understand of competitor portal activity to ensure Samsung remain Best in Class and lead the engagement on innovation in approach
* Create structured feedback streams across all stakeholders and customers gaining insight to make improvement from learnings to drive recommendation and knowledge.
* Increase impact of portal and app to drive new and existing users to return for regular learning driving greater participation.
* Integration of Samsung Ambassador Elite programme to deliver expert knowledge and upweighted access into online learning.
* Clear and concise communication to the relevant teams
* Leading stakeholder communications on new changes to system to allow updates within channel and retailers
* Market the portal to the channels
* Devise innovative ways to build knowledge and demonstrate ROI
* Create and maintain reports to highlight activity within the portal
* Ensure updates are completed in a timely manner particularly around product launches
* Build and implement plans to ensure targets are met on a quarterly basis and continuously monitor progress
* Build e-learning training material for channel team
* To ensure that e-learning training is delivered in-line with the focus of Samsung UK specifically to combat retention of existing handset users
* Develop best in class execution of remote learning through portal and mobile app, developing the platforms, taking advantage of recent trends and user patterns for online usage
