This family run business specialises in the specification and supply of washroom related products and materials to commercial organisations throughout the UK. Due to continued success and as part of their planned growth a vacancy exists for a Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead their online activity at their head office in Poole, Dorset.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the purpose of the role is to increase visibility and competitiveness of their Magento website.

The post holder will assist in the development of a digital marketing plan and policy to aid with business growth. The plan will build brand reputation through enhancing their customer experience.

Working within a dynamic and friendly team your responsibilities will include:
- Development & implementation of web and digital marketing strategy
- Develop website content guidelines
- Drive website traffic through email marketing, SEO, pay per click (PPC), social media and other key sources
- Competitor and Price Reviews
- Managing website content & production through both internal and retained external resources: product write ups, new product uploads, blogs, case studies etc.
- Data scrutiny and analysis through Google Analytics and other media to identify trends and opportunities
- Producing regular reports to demonstrate effectiveness of digital marketing activity
- Work closely with SEO consultant and website developer to improve visibility and user experience

Applicants should have a background and experience within website content management and development, ideally gained working for/with an e-commerce business or with a digital agency. A broad understanding of website functionality is essential, ideally gained using the Magento ecommerce platform. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for all things digital including search engine optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC), social media promotion and email marketing.

Previous experience in producing and implementing digital marketing plans will help the successful applicant to maintain focus and gain results through marketing objectives, KPIs and targets.

The current website is successfully promoted via main stream social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google Plus. The successful applicant will be expected to build on this presence through generation of unique, relevant and engaging content.

The role requires good organisational and planning skills along with excellent written and verbal communication (fluent English).

Minimum qualifications of GCSE English & Maths at grade C and above is expected, along with additional further education qualifications at A-Level or degree. You will be fully PC literate, including use of Microsoft Office suite.
