Exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistants in Wolverhampton

Eastfield is a large, multicultural school situated on the outskirts of Wolverhampton City Centre and is an Ofsted awarded 'Good' school (February 2017).

At Eastfield, our core values are: pride, care, resilience, diversity, opportunity and respect. We are looking to appoint a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant, on a permanent basis, to work in Year 3.

The job will start on 21st October 2019 on a full-time basis with working hours being 8:30am - 3:30pm. You will carry out a varied role working under the instruction of teaching staff to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You will also work with children on an individual and small group basis, supporting their learning both inside and outside of the main teaching area.

This role will involve you working with children in Year 3. Experience and knowledge of working with children on SEMH and distressed behaviour would be advantageous. In addition to this, you will also carry out a lunchtime supervisory role on a daily basis.

Please note that we are working with our recruitment partner, Hays Education and all applications will be managed through them. Please call Mandeep Rayat on or email for an application form, for further information or to arrange a viewing of the school.

Please also take a look at our website http:// to get a better understanding of our school.

The school is recruiting for a temporary position until Christmas on the first instance, however there will also be a permanent position available from January so there may be an opportunity to extend this role.

Eastfield Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post requires an enhanced DBS check.

Visits to the school are encouraged and are being coordinated by Mandeep Rayat - please call to arrange an appointment.

There will be a short interview with the school's leadership team. We look forward to meeting you and receiving your application.
