Ask Jules are agents for university students with physical disabilities who choose to employ like-minded Personal Assistants to provide their care and support.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a young female with Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and Muteness.

Join her team of Live In PA's who provide her personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to really help make a difference to our client's personal achievements.

·Hours: Live in PA (One week on and One week off)

·Start Date: November 2019

·Location: The University of Nottingham - Sutton Bonington Campus

·Pay & Benefits - ·£100 Per Day & 5.6 weeks' holiday pro rata

About our Client

Our client is an 24 year-old, who is studying BSc Hons Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Nottingham - Sutton Bonington Campus

Our client is confident in her own ability and is enjoying living independently at university

·She is definitely a "people" person

·She describes herself as witty, caring, conscientious and an artistic individual.

·She is very independent and sociable but will also spend time chilling watching Netflix, movies, TV and shopping of course!

·When her head is not in books, she savours walks, photography and baking - she loves The Great British Bake Off.

·She wants to make the most of her time at University - exploring the Nottingham Student Life.

About the Job

This is a great opportunity to spend a year doing something very different and meaningful after graduating from university, before embarking on a further career.

You will provide our client's personal / health care and social support. This is also a "flatmate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work and includes all the fun things you'd expect a student of 24-year-old to be doing. Like going away for the weekend, going to the cinema, watching TV, socialising with friends and much more!

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

About You:

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's support, therefore, full training in his particular needs is provided. You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

·Interested in Film and TV

·Grasp concepts of substantial (+ nutritious) foods as our client is a vegan.

·Sharp knowledge of the Sciences (preferably Food Science and Nutrition, but not mandatory).

·Ideally have a Driving Licence with car

·Good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative

·Have a good sense of humour

·A mature and responsible attitude

·Excellent hearing and communication skills

·Fluent in English

·Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
