The role is a general teaching assistant role and you will be working in conjunction with a experienced year 3 teacher in the overall running and management of the classroom as a whole

*9:00AM - 3:30PM
*Working within the year 3 classroom
*Upholding the Catholic Ethos upheld by the school
*Supervising lunch breaks
*supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing
*giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
*helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
*motivating and encouraging pupils
*assisting with marking and correcting work
*attending meetings and reviews
*helping with school events, trips and activities

*Degree with a 2:1 or higher
*Strong behaviour management
*Experience within KS2
*Youth work experience (desired)
*Up to date safeguarding training
*First aid training (desired)
*Assertive, Engaging and Proactive

All Candidates that apply must have KS2 experience, have strong behaviour management techniques and be willing to uphold the catholic ethos that the school expects.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
