The business has first class relationships with all the leading photo equipment suppliers, including Canon, Nikon, Profoto, Panasonic, Sony, Sigma and many more.

Part-exchange and the sales of second hand products has become an important part of our customer's journey and as such our Part-Ex team has grown considerably over the last 5 years.Now comprising of 18 members of staff the team is involved with managing the process fully, from quoting the customer, to inspecting the products and preparing the items for resale.

This is an exciting opportunity for a keen photographer to join our growing Part Exchange team. The role would ideally suit an individual with a strong technical awareness of photographic equipment alongside the ability to build effective, trusting relationship with teams. The candidate should have a passion for photography and have the ability to make on the spot decisions.

This role would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to progress their career and be involved in developing and delivering our part-exchange strategy as part of a growing business and a dynamic team.
To create SKU'S with our internal stock management system.
Primary Objectives:
·To create SKU's within our internal stock management systems for all used items, including but not limited to secondhand products, ex-demo products and ex rental products. These products are created with IMS & Southware.

·To ensure all SKU'S created adhere to our copy guidelines, ensuring that all descriptions of our products are listed accurately and mechanised to a professional standard.

·To perform checks on all items SKU'D to ensure all accessories and details are listed correctly and accurately.

·To Re-box second hand products where original boxes aren't supplied and ensure the products are adequately packaged ready for re-sale.

·Photographing individual SKU'S; Shooting specific details that are of relevance to the product

·Provide day to day support to the administration team when required.

·Working on additional tasks and projects as required.

·To liaise with the Part exchange Business Manager to ensure they are kept abreast of any issues with the creation of used products.
Experience and Characteristics
·Attention to detail and accuracy

·Strong Grammar and punctuation skills.

·Photographic knowledge and understanding of the key technologies and product areas in which the company operates

·Excellent time management skill with the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.

·Disciplined and organised working practices.

·Creative in approach and able to find innovative solutions to challenges

·Enthusiastic and flexible working attitude.

·Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

·The ability to prioritise work and switch between tasks without the need for close supervision

Part Exchange Working Hours
The normal hours of work will be 40 per week Monday and Friday between 8am-7pm.
