Graduate Training Scheme (Software Implementation)

Greater Manchester

We are seeking an ambitious graduate (in a relevant IT subject) to join the Manchester office of a global software company. With an exciting graduate training scheme, this is a rare opportunity for an IT graduate to kick start their career within a fascinating and rewarding industry.

With offices in the UK, Europe, Canada, United States, New Zealand and Australia, our client delivers powerful software solutions to public libraries, archives, museums, galleries and academic institutions. They are now seeking an ambitious graduate to begin a two-year training program that will see you develop leading software implementation and technical support skills but also perform a real role that makes a true difference to the business.

Starting in December 2019, the successful graduate will receive all the training and support needed to reach their full potential. The two-year graduate training scheme will consist of:

  • Twelve months working within the customer service / technical support team;
  • Twelve months working in the project delivery / software implementation team;
  • A two-week placement in one of their overseas offices.

Under the guidance of the team you can expect to build an excellent foundation on which to build a long-term career in software implementation and technical support, whilst developing several highly transferable non-technical skills (such as team working, communication and project management).

To qualify... We are seeking driven graduates who are determined to succeed and develop their careers in a supportive and collaborative environment. In more detail your CV should outline:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (such as IT/Computer Science or Cultural Studies);
  • Knowledge of IT software;
  • A passion for technology and customer service;
  • Any previous work experience in a customer-facing role;
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (our client is not able to provide sponsorship);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • The ability to learn and develop new skills;
  • The ability to work well within a team.
