Senior Accounts Payable Assistant -Peterborough Hours: 35 Hours per week Monday to Friday Pay: £25,000 per year Country Court Care is one of the fastest growing independent healthcare companies in the UK. We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant, who will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. You will be joining an established finance team and will have responsibility for Purchase Ledger processing, payment runs and account reconciliations. About You: You will need to have a minimum of three years working in accounts payable, Purchase Ledger experience, knowledge is integral to the role to support the AP Manager. You should have a confident and friendly personality and display a strong understanding of the confidentiality required to work in finance and experience in Sage 200 would be beneficial. You must also be computer literate and possess an ability to grasp the various management systems used bespoke for the industry and linked with Sage. Main Job Tasks & Role Responsibilities: Day to day processing of Purchase Ledger Prepare payment runs Daily & monthly controls & reconciliations Monitor and reconcile major supplier accounts Month end authorisation and posting to ensure purchase ledger is up to date Contribute to process improvements within purchase ledger Essential Skills: We want you to hit the ground running that's why we ask that you have the following essential skills: Minimum 3 years Purchase Ledger/accounts payable experience Sage experience beneficial Strong IT literacy and Excel skills essential Ability to grasp the various management systems Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail Sound understanding of confidentiality Able to demonstrate aptitude of using figures Inter-personal skills Highly organised Your Reward Package You'll be joining a family business and working alongside a real team-spirited group of people.
