This role will drive improvement of customer experience through strong technical expertise & driving supplier quality Performance and supporting team professionals in doing the same. The role holder will also work in a team with other Assurance Specialists, Professionals, Deployment, Design and Operations peers and support the Technical Delivery Assurance Manager and Senior Manager of Mobile Property & Assurance to ensure compliance and consistency in the deployment of new products and services.You will be required to proactively manage suppliers to ensure they deliver on their commitments in relation to delivery assurance & quality contract deliverables. Providing expertise to deployment/design in the development of trial deployment scopes (and delivering them where necessary) and engaging with suppliers to ensure they deliver trials to time, quality and cost.You will also be required to Act as deployment technical lead in the first-time deployment of new network elements and service models and define standards and methods of installation. The role will offer you the opportunity to research & develop new and innovative solutions for I&C documents and standards, handover documents and deployment quality audit templates themselves or through the Suppliers and/or Partners to allow subsequent rollout to be successful and repeatable.What you'll be doingInfluence supplier Contract requirements documents, ensuring consideration of delivery assurance requirements. Lead capability audits for small to large volume/complexity contracts & Scope of Works. During contract implementation, lead assurance in delivery.Lead development and negotiation of scope specific delivery assurance & quality requirements for inclusion in deployment contracts SoW's.Provides expertise to deployment/design in the development of trial scopes for new products and services, defining standards and methods of installation in support of New Product Introduction (NPI).Provides technical expertise for first time deployment of new network elements to ensure subsequent deployments will be successful.Guide & support suppliers, Delivery, Design, Planning, and Operations in delivering deployment solutions that satisfy rollout requirements & standards.Create and approve technical and control documentation to support installation, commissioning and integration.Be a subject matter expert for Deployment, supporting technical direction and acting as an escalation point for deployment issues and authorising acceptable solutions.Engage with and manage suppliers building strong relationships to ensure delivery of their contractual commitments for Delivery Assurance.Ensure supplier delivery of reporting and metrics related to in-field deployment quality. Subsequent analysis and identification of failure trends and root causes. Drive and track continuous improvement plans with suppliers.Research and implement developments in services, solutions and technology and industry best practices that may affect/improve deployment.Represent the team across the organisation to ensure that Mobile Property & Assurance views, requirements and benefits are fully appreciated.Providing strong technical leadership to ensure that Technology Delivery projects deliver to time and quality.We'll also need to see these on your CVExpertise in industry standards and best practice in the mobile network deployment domain.A history of delivering to and driving others to deliver to quality assurance and management standards.Lead Quality Auditor competence.Detailed understanding of H&S requirements, standards and legislation applicable to the role and environment applicable to the role.Health & Safety qualifications covering all aspects of working on Radio Network sites.Strong track record of success in a technical and Quality Assurance environment.Ability to drive excellence in execution through attention to detail.Must work well in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to communicate at all levels).Superior experience and knowledge of all aspects of mobile network build and equipment deployment methodologies and workmanship standards.Vast experience in standards setting and technical/Quality document development and management.Experience of technically supporting complex and multiple technology related projects in-field.Why choose us?We are in an incredibly competitive industry and it's not just the technology that's important, but the world of promise it creates for our customers.
