UX Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UX/Web Designer to join our fast growing team, based in our Northern Quarter office in Manchester City Centre.

We are an umbrella company for several brands in online health. We strive to lead the way in making everyday care more accessible and convenient for patients. Innovation has been, and continues to be, at the forefront of what we do; and we specialise in the development of our own pioneering systems to make getting safe, remote care on demand a reality.

As our UX/Web Designer, you will be joining our company at a critical stage as we expand our offering and embark on the next exciting phase of our journey.

You will be responsible for:

?conducting competitive analyses of other providers operating in the same space

?preparing customer analyses based on our target demographic and transactions

?Contributing towards the creation of a content development strategy

?coordinating with our UI design team on navigation, page routing, product page design and more

?tracking usability goals and preparing reports for senior management

?turning mock ups into a creative and professional front end result

?conducting usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and creating reports demonstrating your findings

?creating PSDs for visual layout of web pages and converting each design into HTML and CSS

?creating illustrations for web and content marketing

?maintaining and updating all plugins for website

?removing any 'dead' links immediately and responding to issues with site functionality

?creating mock-ups for proposed project pages and updating them as required.

As a Web/UX Designer with five years' professional design experience, you will:

?have demonstrable advanced skills in the use of Adobe design suite products, including InDesign and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Photoshop

?have an advanced understanding of eCommerce

?be able to demonstrate your skills with a professional portfolio of work, containing at least five designs

?be educated to degree level in Computer Design, Development, Engineering or a similar discipline

?ideally be familiar with online questionnaire design and usability

?have some knowledge and understanding of using design in content marketing campaigns.
