A leading Bank based in London are now looking to hire a IT Security Specialist for a Contract role in London.
6 Months role.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver Security Architecture and Engineering services for IT Infrastructure projects.
· Review the system architecture and configurations are in line with the Security policies & best practices.
· Follow up of deployment of IT security tools like Privilege access management, Threat intelligence, Network Access control etc.
· Creating and managing pen test plans and scope for IT Infra and Applications.
· During the contractual period, assisting internal engineering and development functions to work more securely and coach the IT Staff on best security practices.
· Defining KPI's, processes to ensure the coherence in IT inventory across diverse Security systems and repositories (AV, VM, SIEM, Asset Registers/CMDB)
· Audit the correct operation of Firewalls, IPS, DLP and other security products.
· Defining controls & processes to identify the potential risks and threats in IT Systems.
· Developing and updating the relevant IT policies, processes and procedures integrating security best practices into them.
· Monitor and respond to security incidents and providing methodical post-event analyses.

Key Requirements
· You will have strong experience working in IT Infrastructure security. Past experience within medium to large sized investment banks, hedge funds and asset management companies would be beneficial.
· You will be able to display strong understanding and have working experience with Network Infrastructure components, IPS, SIEM, WAFs, Load Balancers, proxies, Firewall management systems.
· Must be able to design and engineer complex technical architectures for the WAN, LAN and DMZs.
· Hands-on experience in deploying and managing solutions around Privilege access management, Threat intelligence, Network Access control will be appreciated.
· Exposure in Securing, auditing and maintaining Infrastructure components and configurations on VMware, Windows and Linux platforms would be beneficial.

Technical Skills WAN/LAN Hardware (Cisco / Fortinet / Mcafee, etc) and Software defined Networking technologies.
· Network Security - Firewall configuration, VPN and Threat prevention.
· Server Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere).
· Perimeter security.
· Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012. 2016), (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS)., WAN,
· Endpoint Protection / Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware / Anti-Ransomware / Encryption.
· Penetration test management and remediation.
· Excellent documentation skill.

Qualifications and Training
· CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
· Network, Security, or Platform certification(s) (S+, N+, MCSP, CNA).
· Ethical hacking experience would be plus
