An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ceremony Co-Ordinator based in Beaconsfield to join an expanding company.

As a Ceremony Co-Ordinator will include:
  • To deal with enquiries and bookings from customers wanting to undertake legal preliminaries for marriage or civil partnership, Or book a ceremony. To give accurate legal information and advice to ensure that all opportunities for ceremony bookings are followed through to maximise revenue.
  • To manage the booking process throughout, ensuring that the dates/times are manageable and suit both the customer and operational needs, That payments are taken and receipts issued. To thoroughly check all ceremony paperwork at designated intervals, being constantly mindful of the legalities involved, including notice expiration the huge variances in foreign divorce documents and also creating residency requirements etc. To ensure that 'options' forms are received in advance of the ceremony in line with service procedures.
  • To liaise regularly with our Approved Venues to build strong partnership links and also to ensure that their ceremony bookings correspond with ours. To encourage the licencing in additional venues by answering their general questions.
  • To manage the Deputy Superintendent Register diaries, checking that appropriate notice appointments are available. To manage the ceremony diaries by ensuring that an appropriately trained staff member is going to deliver the ceremony in the Register Office, Venue or religious premise, To ensure that all ceremonies also have an appropriately trained member of staff to register the event and that there is sufficient travelling time between all events around the County.
  • To identify all possible sham marriage and civil partnerships, Plus any other fraudulent transactions and report accordingly.

An ideal Ceremony Co-Ordinator will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Experience of providing frontline customer advice.
  • Detailed knowledge of marriage, civil partnership and immigration law.
  • Able to develop new services and new activities.
  • Experience of working in an income driven service area.
  • Able to organise and prioritise workloads and achieve deadlines.
  • Relevant practical experience of working as part of a team to meet service standards, targets and deadlines.
  • Previous experience of managing the Registration on-line booking system to optimise maximum income for the service.
  • Working with and supporting Registration management to continually develop and improve the service.
  • Being able to work as part of a team.
  • Good ICT skills including use of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP.
