Vision for Education are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, who has the enthusiasm and determination to motivate and support pupils, within a Pupil Referral Unit. It is a great opportunity to gain more experience within an extremely rewarding and unique environment.

The Role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, you will work closely with the SEND Teacher to deliver the best possible care and support for the students. You will be working with students with additional support needs, both on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.

We're looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience working or volunteering within a similar setting and have had exposure to behavioral support and/or SEND role. You will have the confidence to promote learning in challenging environments and engage with vulnerable individuals.

To be considered for the position of teaching assistant you will:

Have experience supporting children with complex medical and mental health needs
Be available from ASAP
Be available for a minimum of 3 days per week
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team, have a nurturing and caring nature

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
