Sewell Wallis are partnering with a global organisation who operate across a number of different countries and therefore hold a significant presence and reputation within the distribution industry. After a major acquisition, the business has seen steady growth and has been developing their finance team since to keep up with the pace of the business. with a number of exciting projects on the horizon within their commercial finance team, they now require a Senior Finance Business Partner to work closely with their Sales Director to help shape the future of the business.

This role will be pivotal in providing sound commercial and financial advice to a key business leader and their team, therefore experience around stakeholder management is essential for this position.

Your role will look something like this on a monthly basis with interesting new projects added along the way:-

-Drive targeted KPI's across the business, working closely on commercial strategies with various department heads, encouraging them to take some ownership of their numbers
-Focus on the sales team commission structures, advising on any key improvements required
-Create strong and robust relationships with non-finance areas in the business, in particular operations
-Proactively provide timely, insightful, actionable and accurate financial analysis and recommendations to key functional leaders
-Lead the analysis of profitability modelling. Work with the business and other Commercial Finance peers on executing changes in our business model in response to this evolution
-Company performance analysis on a monthly basis, presenting your findings to the Senior Management Team, advising on any areas of concern/development
-Work closely with non-finance individuals on executing changes in the company's business model
-Support operational efforts required in order to optimise working capital
-Support the business in scoping and defining on-going reporting requirements

You will ideally be a qualified accountant with a strong background within commercial finance with excellent experience around stakeholder management. You must be able to demonstrate strong business partnering experience, ideally within sales but this isn't essential. You must be confident in making key strategic decisions with large, preferably international businesses.
