Our client based in Coleford is recruiting for a Finance and Legal Manager to join their team. This role will involve some international travel as well as travelling to the clients head office based near Reading on occasion.

The purpose of the role is to review the monthly financial results and reports of the international subsidiaries as well ensure all legal and compliance matters are managed proactively.

The Role

Review financial results of the international subsidiaries.
2. Challenge the CFO and CEO of the subsidiaries on the results and gather additional information where appropriate
3. Visit each of the subsidiaries on a monthly rotation. (anticipated 5 days international travel per month).
4. Manage legal aspects including:
  • Corporate Law, Companies Act, VAT, IPR etc
  • Commercial agreements
  • Board minutes
  • File annual accounts and other Companies House returns
  • Finalise agreements such as bank documents, lease agreements

Experience required-
  • Knowledge of consolidation of multi-currency subsidiaries.
  • Background in engineering/manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in companies with turnover of at least £30 million per year.

Essential Finance Experience:
  • SAP
  • BPC - Business Process Consolidation
  • Leadership Skills (X1 employee reporting into this role)
  • Good communications across levels of business
  • Travel each month to at least one subsidiary (X6 subsidiaries) Maximum travel time to furthest 13hrs.
  • Financial background - ACA
  • Review subsidiaries financials on a monthly basis
