Flowtech Water Solutions have an excellent opportunity for a Service and Maintenance Engineer / Manager. (Dependant on experience). The ideal candidate will be electrically biased and ideally have experience of Water Booster Pumps, Pressurisation Equipment & Heating Circulators. Although the role is varied and will include working with a number of different products, full training will be provided both internally and externally.

The applicant will be joining a small company that is expanding in its current market. The company specialise in the supply, commissioning and servicing of water solution products nationwide. The product range is varied and multiple skills would be required.

This role will include commissioning, fault finding, servicing and repairing of specialist pump and water systems.

This is an autonomous role so you will be left to yourself to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. When work is not provided we would require you to return to our premises and assist with product assembly and testing etc.

Candidates who apply must be able to show some competency in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience of 1 phase and 3 phase electrical systems. To be classed as "fully qualified" as an electrician to NVQ level 3 / City & Guilds standards / 18th Edition etc.

The Role:

*Site commissioning, servicing and maintenance of water supply equipment.

*Workshop duties including assembly and testing.

*Breakdown coverage as part of a team.

*Electrical & Mechanical competent. Building Service & Industrial Experience preferred.

*80% Field Based / 20% Office & Workshop

*North West & Cumbria coverage mainly. Nationwide otherwise.

*Working with a service co-ordinator and sub-contractors to ensure effective response and cost control

The Person:

*Motivated and trustworthy with an ability to work on their own or as part of a team.

*Electrical and mechanical skills. Knowledge of heating and water systems advantageous.

*Experience of booster pumps & systems, heating systems, cold water storage tanks etc.

*Experience working with both 1 phase and 3 phase electrical supplies.

*Commutable to Wigan

* Clean Full UK licence Preferred
