An exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Manager has arisen in an organisation based in a beautiful Surrey location. This internationally renowned organisation seeks an experienced Payroll Manager to join their established friendly team. Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a valuable member of the business team. You will be processing a monthly payroll for up to 250 people. An essential part of your job is to advise staff and line managers on key issues of pay, tax, national insurance, pension and other voluntary deductions.

Key aspects of your role include: ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time; processing a complex payroll which deals with diverse contracts and payments; developing strong relationships and working alongside the HR team; managing projects which relate to your area of work; using technology to your advantage by improving the company's services.

Other tasks include: updating and maintaining a salary increase spreadsheet for staff; having a sound understanding of payroll regulations and financial control principles and giving accurate advice; dealing with queries from HMRC and other staff in regards to policy and regulatory matters; dealing with complex regulations in order to best assist the Finance Manger regarding staff benefits, pension arrangements, SSP, SMP and P11D's.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have had experience as a Senior Payroll professional. Your main capabilities include having excellent communication skills, meeting tight deadlines. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be keen to implement your knowledge into developing the company. A Payroll qualification and experience using the system would be a great advantage, but it is not essential.
