We are one of the UK's leading delivery management companies, providing efficient, high-quality and competitively priced services across Business Mail, Parcels and Doordrop Media. Our Rushden site is our main UK distribution centre for our corporate clients working in conjunction with our other sites across the UK specialising in providing E-commerce and Fulfilment solutions to a wide range of clients both in the UK and internationally through bespoke systems and top-quality customer service.

Having secured additional new clients and with the business expanding, we are seeking an Account Manager/Executive to join our friendly team. Working 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, in return we can offer a salary of up to £29K, plus 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), free parking and pension.

Reporting to the Head of Account Management, the role of Account Manager/Executive is to manage multiple accounts and provide support to colleagues, whilst developing strong client relationships and ensuring both the company's goals and those of its clients are achieved. You will deliver an excellent service that represents value-for-money for clients and delivers meaningful revenues to the company.

Additionally; Influencing business strategy and informs the company's budgets.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of client support requests
First escalation point for issues, incidents, staff concerns and breaches of SLA
Monitors the company's performance against agreed SLAs
Liaises with managers of other departments to ensure operational objectives are met
Reviews service performance and implements improvement plans
Facilitates regular client reviews
Reviews client financial performance in line with budget
Compiles activity reports and produces client invoicing
Involved revenue assurance and credit control
Involved in pre-sales consultancy and feasibility studies
Supports business change control procedures, involved with Programme & Project Management, liaising with IT where necessary
Coordinates changes to client pricing e.g. NLW, Carrier Price Reviews, Supplier Price Changes

Experience:

Previous experience in a client facing environment as an Account Executive, Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Customer Service Advisor, Partner Manager, Business Development Manager or similar
Relevant experience in ecommerce, fulfilment, third-party logistics, warehousing and contact centres
Demonstrable experience of managing a range of corporate business account covering both large and small revenue streams
Full range of account management experience including customer service, performance monitoring, management reporting, trend analysis, invoicing, credit control and leading client review meetings
Experience of providing support and training for other team members
Skills and Knowledge:

Able to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders / customers - "be a people person"
Confident communicator with highly developed oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and proficient use of standard office applications e.g. Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Able to influence decisions and present to people at all levels both internally and externally
A broad range of organisational skills; methodical, task-oriented, and focussed with good attention to detail and ideally; experience of project management
