Interaction Recruitment are currently working with a prestigious client who are a leading global supplier of communications, security, electrical and wire & cable products. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to recruit a passionate Marketing & Events Coordinator to join their advancing EMEA Marketing Communications team.


As a Marketing & Events Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating and running events as well as attending events within the UK and EMEA regions. Assisting the Marketing Communications Manager in implementing programs and tasks in support of the business' EMEA marketing plan and sales goals. Our client is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about running events with a strong desire to develop their marketing experience and relishes working within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Organisation of six major events in the EMEA calendar, both in the UK and in the wider region, including appointing and liaising with stand designers and other agencies, pre-and post-event promotional campaigns, organising staff rotas and responsibilities, organising collateral and material support, processing and follow up of sales leads, adherence to budget.

Assisting with other events in the region by providing support to approximately 25 country location managers and teams as needed

Managing EMEA-specific collateral stocks and promotional materials and handling shipments to EMEA locations where required

Managing up-to-date Marketing information on the intranet

Working with the US team to adapt collateral and media for EMEA use, including liaising with translators

Driving social media and website engagement by creating and writing original content

Managing EMEA sales lead capture and follow up, using CRM system and MS Sharepoint

Adapting US-developed graphics and materials for use in EMEA using project management system to liaise with US design teams

Required Skills and Experience:

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with non-native English speakers

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Flexibility during events which may require extra hours on the job and some travel

Proactive self-starter with can-do attitude with enthusiasm

Adaptable, keen to learn and embrace new opportunities

Creative thinking to bring new ideas and suggestions for continual improvement

Knowledge/exposure to using marketing tools: Eloqua, Hootsuite, GoToWebinar, Poppulo, Wrike project management, MS Office Suite, including Sharepoint

Qualifications Required:

Educated to University degree would be desirable

CIM or similar marketing qualification/experience is highly desirable

Design experience: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator

Multi-lingual would be an advantage

Full UK Drivers Licence with own vehicle is essential
