Are you an experienced Product Manager who has a flair for Marketing? Are you adept at owning the business strategy behind a Product? If so, then Kingsley Consulting has a very exciting role which could be just for you!

Our Client is the UK arm for a Global Brand of Construction & Roofing Products. With a T/O in excess of $4B they really do lead the way in terms of sector technology and innovation in their Product offering.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) & extensive Company benefits.

Location: Milton Keynes

Role Overview:

Working with the wider Marketing, Technical & Product Management team your role is to take responsibility for developing and delivering the product strategy for the market. You will spend most of your time working with business management and customer-facing sales teams to ensure our clients product offering is fit for market. You will work in a local business environment, face to face with all stakeholders and will be an integral part of the marketing and technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the forecasting for defined products, ensuring that Supply Chain have up-to-date forecasts for all products as well as increased demand expected from project and promotional activity.

* Act as the technical expert for the defined products

* Provide product-related information to internal and external customers as required

* Drive product turnover and profitability by working with sales teams ensuring best practice is shared and that underperformance is identified

* Maintain/improve the profitability of the identified portfolio through the execution of product related projects, as identified in the operating plan.

* Identify opportunities for new products and/or promotions. Quantify/justify the market potential for these and manage their subsequent development and introduction.

* Act as the guardian for brand issues relating to the identified products.

* Act as the liaison/co-ordination point between all parts of the business that have a potential impact on the profitability/performance of the identified products. A particular focus must be given to maintaining effective communications with Sales, Marketing Communications, Purchasing, Technical and Manufacturing for product related issues.

Candidate Experience:

Ideally degree qualified, you will be a seasoned product management professional and will enjoy using your technical, organisation and decision-making skills to drive product priorities to meet local business and wider Group requirements for a defined set of products.
